10 Magical Analogue Photos of Northern Lights that Make You Want to See It Once at Least

Northern Lights is a common name for the Aurora Borealis (Polar Aurorae) in the Northern Hemisphere. It is a natural light display in the sky, predominantly seen in the high latitude (Arctic and Antarctic) regions. Aurorae are caused by cosmic rays, solar wind and magnetospheric plasma interacting with the upper atmosphere (thermosphere/exosphere).

Auroras take many different visual forms and colours, so it's very interesting when to be seen once at least.
