S1-MME interface between the Mobility Management Entity (MME) and eNodeB

dsTest supports the S1-MME interface between the Mobility Management Entity (MME) and eNodeB, and the S1-U interface between the Serving Gateway (SGW) and eNodeB. The S1 Interface Application, along with dsTest interface applications of S6, S5/S8, and S11, provides dsTest users with complete EPC testing capability. Our eNodeB, MME, SGW, PGW, and Home Subscriber Server (HSS) emulators support end-to-end testing of IP connectivity to LTE access. dsTest can surround a CIoT Serving Gateway Node (C-SGN) with all the interfaces needed to verify the MME, SGW, and PGW functions required of the C-SGN. The S1 Interface Applications include support of the S1-AP Elementary Procedures as defined in TS 36.413, TS 23.401 and TS 23.682.

The dsTest S1 Interface Application is R13 compliant, implementing the optimizations specified for enhanced coverage and battery life and reduced complexity compared to existing LTE devices (S1-Lite/Support for Narrow Band IoT/Cellular IoT).

dsTest collects a comprehensive set of Operational Measurements (OMs) for the S1 Interface. These OMs can be displayed withdsClient GUI or dsClient CLI.
